Preventing Herbicide Residual Effects on Cover Crops

Shaffer discusses preventing uneven cover crop establishment, areas of the field where herbicide carryover is most likely to occur and what factors result in higher herbicide effects on cover crops.

He'll also discuss how to utilize cover crops to make weeds less competitive, which weed species to watch out for, and how temperature and moisture fluctuations can impact cover crops emergence and weed pressure.

THIS SESSION IS ELIGIBLE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS: To earn Certified Crop Adviser credits for this session, you must enter your name, CCA# and email address (the same one you used to register for the event) into the online form that will appear on-screen at the conclusion the presentation. To earn continuing education credits, you are required to watch the entire presentation.

After the event has concluded on March 18, 2021 at 6 p.m. CDT, you can still earn continuing education credits by filling out the "Missing CEU" form with ASA/SSSA and sending it in to them, but the credits will not be considered board certified.
